Phoenix Botox vs. Dysport: Which Is Right for You?
At Esthetic Finesse, Nurse Diane offers both Botox and Dysport—FDA-approved injectables that smooth wrinkles, fine lines, and facial tension. While they work similarly, each has unique benefits depending on your goals and facial anatomy. Here’s what you need to know:
What Are They?
- Botox: A highly targeted injectable that relaxes facial muscles to smooth lines and prevent wrinkles. Botox is ideal for focused areas like frown lines, crow’s feet, and lip flips.
- Dysport: Similar to Botox, but spreads more easily due to its diluted formula. This makes Dysport a great option for larger treatment areas like the forehead and neck.
What Can They Treat?
| Treatment | Botox | Dysport |
|---|---|---|
| Best For | Small, targeted areas (eyes, lips) | Larger, diffuse areas (forehead, neck) |
| Results Timeline | 3-7 days(full in 2 weeks) | 2-3 days(full in 1-2 weeks) |

Botox Safety & Our Dosing Philosophy
At Esthetic Finesse, your safety and your results are our top priority.
- FDA-Approved Products Only We use only genuine, FDA-approved neuromodulators — Botox (Allergan), Dysport (Galderma), Daxxify (Revance), and Xeomin (Merz).
- Conservative Dosing for Natural Movement Nurse Diane’s approach is to start conservatively and build. We never over-inject on a first visit. The goal is to refresh, so you still look like you.
- Pre-Treatment Screening: Every patient is screened before treatment. We’ll ask about medications, supplements, health history, and prior treatments to ensure Botox is right for you at this time.
- When to Avoid Botox: Botox is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a neuromuscular condition, or have had an allergic reaction to botulinum toxin products. Nurse Diane will review your full history at the consultation.
- Post-Treatment Care: Avoid lying flat, intense exercise, or touching the treated area for 4 hours post-treatment. Most patients resume normal activities immediately. Full results appear at 10–14 days.
All patients receive a post-care guide and have direct access to Nurse Diane with any questions after their appointment.
